Sarah Boileau is an award winning artist living in Nanaimo, BC. She has been painting in oils for over 20 years and is mostly self taught. After moving to the Island in 2016 she fell in love with the coastal scenery and has been painting it ever since. She uses her own photographs from adventures around the Island as reference material for her paintings. The way that light interacts with the landscape and turns a normal moment into something extraordinary is her favourite muse. Sarah's goal with her artwork is to capture that magical feeling so that you can be transported back into that moment every time you look at one of her paintings.
