Leslie Lendvoy is an award-winning contemporary landscape artist based in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. With family roots reaching five generations deep on the coast of British Columbia, and a childhood spent on the Gulf Islands, she has long found inspiration and companionship in the natural world.
Working primarily in oils, Leslie paints both en plein air and in her studio. Her work is shaped by the rugged shorelines, changing skies and atmospheric light of the Pacific Northwest. She is especially drawn to fleeting moments in nature - the play of light across water, the rhythm of coastal forms and the quiet sense of place that causes us to pause and look again.
Leslie holds an MFA and achieved AFCA Signature Status with the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2022. Her paintings have been recognized in juried exhibitions and shown in galleries, art venues, homes and businesses in Canada and the United States. She has also been invited to share her practice through artist talks and featured-artist presentations. Collectors often describe her work as evoking serenity, joy and memories of places that matter.
