Primarily an acrylic landscape painter, Jenny’s love of nature, particularly the West Coast, continues to inspire her work.
As a child, she could be found building forts in giant tree stumps or exploring the forests around her. After being introduced to Emily Carr's paintings as a young girl, her love affair with trees only grew deeper.
While drawing and pottery continued to feed her creativity, it was after a move to the Sunshine Coast of BC that Jenny really started to explore painting. Attending workshops given by local artists, she continued to define herself as a painter.
Between sessions in her studio, she enjoys hiking and mountain biking near her home in Nanaimo.
