My name is Carol Fornelli
My home is in Nanaimo but I’ve had other homes in my past life.
Being a Pisces I have always felt an attachment to the ocean and have utilized that theme in my artwork.
I spent quite a few years on the central coast and , talk about natural beauty… it’s one of the most beautiful places in the planet. Now I live in the water and love to camp and kayak whenever possible.
When I moved with my family down to Coombs, I had a sheep farm and raised a wonderful dual purpose breed of sheep called Romney. They produced beautiful wool and that serviced my knitting addiction that I fortunately haven’t kicked yet.
I’ve been painting off and on all my life and for the last 5 years have hit it hard. I have a booth at the Cedar Farmers Market and there I have my 2 wonderful obsessions under I tent.
So ….keep on painting and doing what you love. Life’s too short not to.
