Class Title: Watercolour Sketching

Class Description: What I will ask for the students is to bring 2 photos of their own that they will paint. We will focus on composition, elements to enhance or avoid. They will learn how to paint the essential and paint their own sketch. They will use my directives but won’t copy my own.
Instructor Bio: Born in Montreal, Diane Micheline has painted professionally in watercolour since 1990, studying in Paris, Cape Cod, Maine, and Haliburton, Ontario. A dedicated fly-fishing angler since 2001, she is internationally recognized for her fly-fishing paintings, featured in every issue of Fly Fusion Magazine since 2006. Now based on Vancouver Island, Diane leads workshops in Oregon, exhibits globally, and is a member of the International Watercolor Society, American Watercolor Society, and Federation of Canadian Artists.
