Class Title: Mini Masterpieces
Class Date: Sun, Nov 8, 2026 at 10am
Instructor Name(s): Linda Greig
Class Description: Join me for a fun and productive two hours where we will create three mini masterpieces. We'll be using tiny easels with teeny 4"" x 4"" canvases. We’ll paint a background, then use commercial and my gelli-printed papers to create fabulous little abstract floral paintings. (Or possibly landscapes. Or trees...maybe a Christmas tree?) We’ll add a little texture and bling with yarn, sequins and other fun materials. These mini masterpieces would make lovely Christmas presents!
Instructor Bio: I'm enjoying a second childhood, playing with paint, papers and textures! I discovered art after I retired. I worked as a teacher librarian and naturally thought that I'd write a children's book when I retired. But no! I took an art course, and I was hooked! I started off down a new path of playfulness, colour, and creation. And now I'm putting those teaching skills to use, sharing my love of art with new, slightly older students.
