Creative Kids: After School Art

Location: MAC Studio
Welcome to the Creative Kids After School Art Program. We start out every class by playing some fun art games to loosen up, then expect a short lesson or explanation of our our project for the class before we start. Each week we will explore a new art project that will help build confidence, explore materials and learn some of the fundamentals of art.
This week: 3D cardboard sculpture
Maximum number of participants: 12
About the instructor:
Petra Balázs is a young artist from Vancouver Island who loves inspiring and nurturing creativity in other artists and young makers. She enjoys working with all sorts of materials ranging from acrylics and watercolour, to 3D mediums such as ceramics.
She has been working with Creative Kids at the MAC for 3 years and is now excited to be taking on a teaching role with the afterschool program. She can't wait to share her art experience and encourage kids in fun hands on lessons.
