Welcome 2026!
We are bringing in a whopping 6 exhibits this month - come and see the wonderful work of Dema Maksod, Norma McCachen, Brigit Albiston, Brian Hiebert, Jolene Aarbo, Sophie Conway and our First Creative Kids exhibit, Unfiltered Expression. Shout out to our wonderful hanging committee with Sandy T! Our Gallery Committee is now busy accepting exhibit applications for 2027!
We have a great selection of Spring art classes, register with a friend and enjoy the terrific atmosphere in the Studio. Whether you are a beginner or experienced creative, we have something for you. Welcome back to our Artists in Residence - every day we welcome artists who set up their easels and work to share with our visitors to the MAC. They are fantastic ambassadors for us, and bring a great energy and enthusiasm each day.
Our Box Office is full on these days - plan your summer around the wonderful concerts that are coming to the Parksville Outdoor Theatre. Here at the MAC, we are proud to present Paris-based pianist Matthew Blackburn as he delves into the profound musical connections between fathers and sons, and teachers and students, in his recital. The program explores intimate works by J.S. Bach and his son C.P.E. Bach, as well as Franz Liszt and his studentJuliusz Zarebski, offering a captivating dialogue across generations. Join us March 6th, tickets on sale now.
The MAC Community Garden is a busy hub too, with Dan and his crew planting and planning. GREAT workshops including fruit tree pruning, and of course, all that is grown in the Garden, is given away. We appreciate your support!
