The exhibitions will run from February 2 to March 1, 2026, with an opening reception scheduled for Saturday, February 7, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Here is a summary of the featured artists and galleries:

  • Concert Gallery: Features Jolene Aarbo, a Parksville artist known for bold, impressionistic West Coast landscapes and wildlife, and Norma McCachen, a lifelong painter whose work is a personal statement of her identity as an artist.

  • Nemeth Gallery: Hosts "Unfiltered Expression," a special exhibition showcasing the work of young artists aged 16 and under.

  • Oceanside Gallery: Features three distinct artists:

    • Brian Hiebert: Focuses on abstract "other worlds" rather than representational art.

    • Dema Maksod: Uses a Sufi-inspired, therapeutic approach to explore themes of femininity, spirituality, and healing.

    • Brigit Albiston: Uses bold acrylics and intuitive gestures to capture the movement and character of animals.

  • Digital Exhibition: Running longer (until April 28), Sophia Conway’s "Shelf Memories: The Invitation" features a photo series of handwritten notes found inside used books.
