      Ages 8-15 years old

      Location:  MAC Studio

Welcome to the Creative Kids After School Art Club. We are going to be making and learning with awesome art projects, paintings, comics, art games and more. Every week we will explore something different so this is an exciting opportunity to try new mediums and be mentored by an exceptional artist.  Help foster creativity, imagination and experimentation.

      Maximum number of participants: 12

      About the instructor: Imogen McPherson-Forster

Imogen is a fourth-year student in the Bachelor of Visual Arts program at Vancouver Island University. She works with a mix of materials and processes, including sculpture, painting, and printmaking. Many of her projects are large-scale and involve welding, sewing, or building with cardboard and other everyday materials. She enjoys experimenting with texture and structure to see how they can tell a story or create a certain feeling.
