March 21 – Fantastic Florals with Gelli Plates! - Linda Greig
We will start in the morning by creating unique papers using a gelli plate and a variety of materials. During the afternoon session we will create an abstract floral painting using acrylic paint and the gelli prints we created in the morning.

About the Instructor: Linda came to art later in life after working as a teacher-librarian and French Immersion teacher in SD69, reviewing books and teaching future teacher-librarians at UBC. When she retired, she thought she would write a book but took an art course, and was hooked! Painting mostly in acrylic, and add torn paper, yarn and other (often recycled,)embellishments she is inspired by colourful rambling gardens and lush landscapes.
