Wednesday Artists in Residence

 – Margie Davidson & Friends –

As a quilt artist and surface designer, Margie Davidson’s love of colour is joyfully expressed through the variety of techniques she uses to add colour to cloth. She enjoys painting, sunprinting, and blockprinting as well as cooking up colour with natural dyes. Margie takes great pleasure incorporating this coloured cloth into her artwork, along with some stitching by hand or machine. Her award-winning quilts have been exhibited in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and the United States.

Margie is usually  joined by one or more of her fellow artists Juanita Kehler, Bonnie Lefebre, Kathleen Drinkwater and Darrell Giraldeau.

The McMillan Arts Centre is located on the traditional territory of the Coast Salish Nations, home to the Snaw-Naw-As First Nation
