2019 Summer Programs
Get ready for some summer fun at the MAC!
In conjunction with this summer’s art installation, Soft Shore – where land and water meet, we have some exciting activities planned for August. ETHOS presents awesome interactive displays and activities which explore our Oceanside coastline and the ongoing local community projects to protect our unique ocean ecosystems. The ETHOS interactive display is free an open throughout the month of August. Coastal Stewards Youth Workshop for ages 8-12 has three workshops: Aug 7, Aug 14 or Aug 21. And everyone is welcome to come for a Beach Walk and Seining session Aug 6, Aug 13, or Aug 20. All ETHOS events are FREE, but pre-registration is required. Click on the links below for more details and online registration.
This July, in partnership with the Regional District of Nanaimo, MAC School for the Creative Arts is also offering three summer courses for kids and youth: BYTE camp (Claymation Movie Production), Readers Theatre and Digital Design using 3D Printer. These classes are filling up, so avoid disappointment and register now. Click on the links below for more details and online registration.
