Meiling Lorenz is thrilled to have the opportunity to give a talk on “Chinese Fine Line Painting” during her exhibition September 9 – 30, 2023 in the Ocean Side gallery. Having the privilege of growing up and receiving education in Taiwan, Meiling absorbs much heritage of Chinese art and culture.  She developed her love for art in her early twenties. She traveled and worked extensively in art related fields. Currently she resides in Lantzville and devotes herself in developing a unique blending of traditional Chinese Fine Line and western water colour painting. The talk on Chinese Fine Line Painting will present a brief history and ways to understand and appreciate traditional Chinese Find Line painting.
