Introduction to Plein Air/Urban Sketching:
an Art Gems workshop with Dorota Goede

Jump on the Urban Sketching trend with this Art Gems Workshop!  The term urban sketching is used to describe sketching outdoors (plein air) whether you’re in the middle of a city, or out in the country.

Dorota will be with you every step of this process, and will show you how to set up for an urban sketching/plein air session.

You’ll work in a travel-size sketchbook to take home. You’ll even learn how to extract a favourite piece from your sketchbook and mount it for hanging.

You’ll also be invited to participate in future free urban sketching events!

Monday, May 27 (10am-2pm)
