Flower Power: an Art Gems watercolour workshop with Carla Flegel
You will explore the beginning watercolor skills that will give you a good start on managing the water in watercolor. We will paint some pretty spring flowers to practice your new skills. All supplies are included, and no experience needed to take this class. Watercolor is such a lovely versatile painting medium that gives you so many artistic choices. These classes provide such a great opportunity to try out this medium with expert instruction with faculty instructor Carla Flegel

About the Instructor: Carla Flegel has explored oils, acrylics and has recently settled on watercolour as her medium of choice. She loves the unpredictability as water, paint and paper meet, and how it paints itself if you let it. Carla is a familiar figure painting outdoors in the Oceanside area and has recently returned from a trip to Italy with a sketchbook full of plein air watercolour paintings.
