Register your Creative Kid for both AM and PM classes, and child minding is available during the lunch break (12-1). Cost is $10 cash; please provide a lunch and bottle of water.

Creative Kids Instructor: Megan Riera
Megan moved to Europe from Qualicum Beach in 1999, and recently returned to her hometown. Whilst living in the UK, she obtained a first class BA Hons degree in Design for Moving Image and has had a career spanning several creative disciplines; motion design, graphic design and calligraphy. Most recently Megan has been running children’s art workshops, which have introduced young people to many artistic techniques and artist.
What’s Creative Kids all About?
Our goal is to have fun through creative expression while learning some basic art elements, art principles and art history.
This summer we have 30 totally different classes to choose from; both new ones, and favourites PLUS: MAC Art Camp – a whole week to get creative and make some incredible art!

Tues Aug 20 AM – Stained Glass Class
Using kid friendly materials, we are making a fun weather themed stained glass.
Tues Aug 20 PM – Campfire Desire
The glowing light of a campfire will illuminate our scene as well as the twinkle of stars from above.
Wed Aug 21 AM – Ice Cream Dream
What’s your favourite flavour? Add a big scoop of creativity to your day with this ice cream painting, with textural elements.
Wed Aug 21 PM – Art Tree Amazing
We are making a tree out of twisted tissue and paper leaves. What’s that in the tree? Come check it out and see.
Thu Aug 22 AM: Winged Thing on a String
Butterfly, moth or dragonfly, our winged thing will have beautiful matching wings drawn by you. How many can you make?
Thu Aug 22 PM – Mask-arade Parade
Using textiles and embellishments we will create a fantastical masquerade mask.
