6Creative Kids Week 5: MAC Art Camp – August 12-16

Our goal is to have fun through creative expression while learning some basic art elements, art principles and art history.

This summer we have 30 totally different classes to choose from; both new ones, and favourites.  Our newest addition this year is MAC Art Camp – a whole week to get creative and make some incredible art!

Creative Kids classes will take place in our Community Art Garden beside the MAC building, but will include beach walks at lunch, and other fun activities (see below)

MAC Art Camp’s Instructor is Alex Carr, Creative Kids Coordinator 

Alex Carr is an artist and illustrator living in Parksville BC. She loves exploring different mediums and styles, for example pencil drawing, digital illustration, acrylic painting and more. She likes to have fun with her work and express the beauty of the natural world. She is interested in a variety of subjects; be it plants, people or forest, there always something interesting to draw or paint.
