Register your Creative Kid for both AM and PM classes, and child minding is available during the lunch break (12-1). Cost is $10 cash; please provide a lunch and bottle of water.

Creative Kids Instructor: Megan Riera
Megan moved to Europe from Qualicum Beach in 1999, and recently returned to her hometown. Whilst living in the UK, she obtained a first class BA Hons degree in Design for Moving Image and has had a career spanning several creative disciplines; motion design, graphic design and calligraphy. Most recently Megan has been running children’s art workshops, which have introduced young people to many artistic techniques and artist.
What’s Creative Kids all About?
Our goal is to have fun through creative expression while learning some basic art elements, art principles and art history.
This summer we have 30 totally different classes to choose from; both new ones, and favourites PLUS: MAC Art Camp – a whole week to get creative and make some incredible art!

Tues Aug 6 AM – Creepy Crawly
Using pipe cleaner and cardboard, we are making creepy crawly 3D creature art.
Tues Aug 6 PM – 3D Monster Madness
Two eyes or three, the choice is yours. We are making colourful monsters out of colourful clay.
Wed Aug 7 AM – Mobiles in Motion
Using found objects, driftwood, and shells, we are making a mobile that moves in the wind. Materials provided or bring some of your own!
Wed Aug 7 PM – Get Your Roll On
We are rolling up colourful paper to make unique artwork of a butterfly or insect.
Thu Aug 8 AM: Take a Look Sketch Book
We are making our own sketchbook! Let’s fill in a couple pages and get started.
Thu Aug 8 PM – Flower Mania
Making 3D paper flower art. We are going to cut and paste and colour a beautiful bouquet of flowers that won’t wilt.
