Nicoline is a watercolour artist, creating wildlife, animal and nature inspired pieces out of her studio on the unceded traditional territories of the Snuneymuxw First Nation, also called Nanaimo, BC Canada.

She has devoted her art practice to depicting the beauty and love animals bring to our lives through her commissioned pet portraits, original series and print collections.

Nicoline’s portraits dwell in homes across the world, including Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands, France, Iceland, Finland, and from coast to coast in the USA + Canada.

When she is not painting, you can find her exploring the west coast trails with her Shepherd Tori, or cuddling her cats, Sage and Basil while watching nature documentaries.

Nicoline will be at the MAC on occasional Saturdays.  Look for the Artist in Residence sign and stop in!
