Beginning with a reference image of a figure holding an umbrella, we will focus on interpretation rather than replication. The image serves only as a spark, inviting you to respond with intuition, imagination, and personal vision. Through layering, scraping, drawing, and building texture, the painting will evolve organically as you explore mood, movement, and atmosphere. This workshop is designed to encourage creative freedom, helping artists move beyond literal representation and discover unexpected possibilities within the rich, tactile qualities of cold wax and oil. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eInstructor Bio:\u003c\/b\u003e Patt Scrivener’s creativity grew from rural life, music, and a lifelong love of making. Though she began painting young, a 2003 mixed-media workshop deepened her artistic path and inspired an intuitive, process-led practice. Patt holds an AFCA designation with the Federation of Canadian Artists.
