Painting is all about light!

Generate light in your painting to take it from ‘good’ to a much higher level by creating dramatic contrasts with light and shadow.

Create an inviting atmosphere with warmth and intensity.

 

 

Participants will use their new colour palette to create a painting in the afternoon.

Please see supply list.  Extra paint, brushes, palette knives, mediums and cleaning soap will be available if needed.

• 2 medium-sized canvas boards
• 1 canvas 12″ x 16″
• Variety of brushes
• Palette
• Palette knife
• Subject Photos
• (all necessary painting equipment)

Oil or Acrylic Paint (regular or water mixable):

• Cadmium yellow
• Alizarin crimson
• Phtalo blue or cobalt blue
• Cobalt violet or dioxizine violet
• Viridian green
• Burnt sienna
• Sap green
• Titanium white
